Fellows Pair Takes Trophies at Logan Trap Shoot
Sandra Fellows placed second in the women's division of the Logan trophy qualification trap shoot, tying with another shooter at 63x100 before winning a shoot-off with five birds. Her father Jim Fellows won class B with 95x100. Qualification shoots continue in cities to qualify for the Montana Wildlife Federation event at Sundance recreation area in Red Lodge July 29-30.

Parade entries must join at City Park with 4 H floats on the north side and all others on the south. Horses assemble by the Catholic church. Entries must be in position by 11 30 for pre judging.

City Summer Recreation Schedule Details

Post Office To Be Remodeled In Big Timber
Remodeling starts week of June 19 with post office moving to the Davis building. McLean Clark says front and rear work will occur with a bulldozer to create a new front, floors, roof and a rear covered pickup area. Top Professional Cowboys Expected For Big Timber Rodeo
Top rodeo performers are slated for the annual Big Timber Rodeo on Sunday June 11 with early entries from Shawn Davis Tom Bews Ken Noddings Howard Carroll and John Edwards. Don Harrington returns to announce with Roger Mawson as clown and bull baiter. Kesler of Rosemary Alberta Canada will produce the show boasting 15 years in rodeo production and stock contracting. The grand entry begins at 2 pm after a noon parade with pre rodeo festivities and a Model T race slated for Saturday afternoon.

City Recreation Program To Start June 15
The City of Big Timber launches a summer recreation program on June 15 offering activities five days a week from 9 am to 5 pm for Sweet Grass County youth. Robert Hauck oversees operations with involvement from the Community Development Organization led by Ben Berg and youth committee chairs Jim Graham and Joe LaDu. no fees are charged and daily registration is required.
