Albert J Galen former associate justice of the Montana supreme court and attorney general was found dead in Holter lake near Ox Bow point about 10 feet off shore after nearly two weeks missing. His body was recovered by James Galen and others and taken to Helena for funeral rites with a high requiem mass.

Two Held For Lifting Goods From Golden Rule
John Swanson and Jacob Miller, transients, were caught near the Lanagan ranch after taking about $20 worth of merchandise from the Golden Rule. They hid ten pairs of ladies hose and a pair of men’s pants under a jacket and fled. Elmer Larson alerted police. the pair were later arraigned before Justice Sam G.
