McLaughlin Construction Wins Boulder Road Contract
The McLaughlin Construction Co of Great Falls won the contract to grade gravel drain and oil 12.64 miles of road from Big Timber to McLeod for 167 111.58 dollars. The oiling extends from Big Timber to the first bridge and beyond the second bridge. A separate contract for a steel and concrete bridge at the second bridge has already been let. Projects aimed for completion this year.

Claiborns' Daughter Seriously Injured in Wyoming Crash
Mrs G E Mahaffey of Wichita Falls Texas was critically injured in an auto accident three miles south of Buffalo Wyoming at 4 p m Saturday. Her dislocated hip serious facial injuries and four fractures of her right arm followed when the car swerved to avoid a 15 year old motorcyclist and struck a concrete abutment. Other occupants were hospitalized. Arrival of relatives followed as doctors and family members traveled to Buffalo and Billings to be with her.

Slot Machines Taken In Robbery At Hunters Hot Springs
Burglars broke into Hunters Hot Springs east of Livingston in the early morning and took three slot machines and three quarts of whiskey. The machines of 5 10 and 25 cent denominations were carted away and no trace has been found. Officials searched the area but the machines remain missing. The break in was gained by smashing the front door glass and turning the lock.
