Aronson Leads State GOP Governor Race In Montana
Aronson held a nearly three to one lead over Leonard Young with 45 236 to 16 938 votes. Sweet Grass county backed Aronson 918 209. Berg and Ammerman led in judicial district race. Berg carried Sweet Grass 858 259 and Park County 1 170 to 732. Statewide GOP turnout appeared heavy with Beulah Patterson posting 1079 and John W Bonner the top Democrat with 86 flagship scores.

Boulder Car Accident Victim Succumbs
Sheriff Walter Osborne said Morris Farnstrom of Bozeman died at Deaconess hospital from injuries after a truck left the wet eight mile bridge in Boulder Saturday. Farnstrom, afflicted by the crash, was pronounced dead after first aid and transport from the scene. His son Gene, 15, and Bob Bentzen, 14, were not seriously injured. Farnstrom is survived by his widow and two other children.

Mrs Gina Wheeler Dies After Long Illness Services Friday
Gina Susanna Ellingson Wheeler 49 died at her Big Timber home Tuesday after months of illness following cerebral tumor surgery in Great Falls. Funeral at Big Timber Lutheran Church Friday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. E E Tollefson officiating. Interment Mountain View. Survived by husband Homer O Wheeler and three children Edwin Wheeler Los Angeles California Mrs Mal Goosey Jr Big Timber and Gaylord Wheeler Big Timber, sister Major Elsie O Ellingson Dayton Ohio, and three grandchildren. She was active in church and civic groups including Luther League and Pythian Sisters. Funeral details show long community involvement and local family ties.

Wilkins and Co. made the best offer for the Sweet Grass county wool pool last Thursday, with CO and one-eighth cents down on a consignment basis. Leonard Esp and Frank Costello of Billings represented the company, the highest price offered in the state, as five buyers bid the clips. The wool will be sent to Billings for government loan preparation unless a better offer arrives, and checks will not be written until loading is completed. The wool was being loaded yesterday.
