The Lions club approved erecting a log cabin style tourist information booth at McLeod and Highway 10 across from the Moose hall. Donated land by Arnold Johnson. Planned May 30 to Sept 7 with three high school senior girls dispensing info. Estimated cost 1200 to 1300 dollars with donations sought from local business and ranching community.

Hospital Directors Re-elected At Sweet Grass Meeting

The first baby born in 1964 was David Sven Thompson born January 22 to Sheriff Kenneth and Mrs. Thompson, receiving a silver fork and spoon. Membership now stands at 445 with 10 dollar memberships available.

A large winter livestock, meats and wool judging contest drew 33 FFA teams statewide. Big Timber posted bronze in the bronze division while Winter Be won gold. Judging covered beef, dairy, sheep, swine, wool fleeces, and carcasses with events starting at 8:30 a m. Saturday and featuring a program including a college act tour and a Bozeman event.
