Big Timber citizens engage in Christmas and New Year activities including masquerade balls, commercial club efforts, weddings, and holiday travels. Local figures such as Ben Miles and Frank Webber are noted as visiting from nearby towns, with community events, church services, and a forthcoming M W A masquerade ball shaping the season.
St Marks Episcopal Church to host a mission from January 9 to 16 conducted nightly at eight o'clock led by Bishop L K Brewer of Montana. The event aims to revitalize interest in the church, with Rev MacWilliams away in Columbus, and Sunday school as usual at ten. Children enjoyed a Thursday afternoon party with photo pictures.
Word from Santiago California reports W M Green died Sunday night of pneumonia after a winter visit with his wife. A Montana pioneer who resided here since 1882 lived on the Boulder River ranch and in Livingston before moving to Columbus. He was over seventy three and in good health prior to the trip. Mrs Green shares community sympathy. she is sister to Mrs G W Baker of McLeod. Also notices publicized for Auditorium events through January.
