Sweet Grass County Commercial Club Organized
A group of Sweet Grass County citizens formed the Sweet Grass County Commercial Club at a meeting in the K of P hall led by A G Hatch. E C Clark was named temporary chairman, J A Bailey temporary secretary, with W J Geiger elected permanent treasurer. The club plans to develop county resources through advertising and outreach, with a membership set at 33 and a fee of 2.50.

Junior class play at county high school a gratifying success
The junior class play shown Tuesday evening in the auditorium displayed real talent and earnest effort from all participants. It featured a Civil War setting in Washington DC with Robert Farleigh, a loyal Virginian, torn between duty and love as a rebel spy’s schemes unfold leading to capture and danger for the captain.

Order withdraws coal lands from entry modified in state

Halls celebrate thirty eighth wedding anniversary
Mr and Mrs J E Hall of this city celebrated their thirty eighth wedding anniversary last Friday evening hosting about sixty friends at their Third Avenue home. Guests enjoyed decor with plants and ferns, a unique supper pairing ladies as Montana counties with gentlemen as county seats, reminiscences of pioneer days, and old songs. Many well wishers attended.

County Commissioners Hold Regular Session at Big Timber
County commissioners meet in Big Timber Montana with H O Kellogg chairing and members John Rye and H J Koozer. Bills for road and general funds reviewed including labor on roads, bridge plank, nursing and poor relief, and numerous clerical and election expenses. Afternoon session continued with extensive accounts for salaries, election costs, and judge and juror fees. session adjourned with notes to resume next week.

Room one and room four plan Christmas programs on Friday December 21 at 2 30 and 2 45 respectively. Room five also hosts a program that day.
