Allen Conwell painter and decorator from Livingston died in a highway wreck about six miles north of the city on the Big Timber Harlowton route. The car swung from the right edge into a fence and overturned after hitting two posts. Conwell left town earlier to paint a ranch and was last seen at Allman filling station obtaining oil and water. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church with Rev. C. E. Tate presiding.
