Range Cattle Receipts and Market Report Across the West
Western range cattlemen supplied 16 000 cattle this week about a quarter of the total 62 000. Receipts came from Wyoming Montana and the Dakotas with most from Montana and North Dakota. Prices eased 10 15 cents on midweek arrivals before a Thursday rally as quality varied. Feeder demand grows while western cows and bulls remain limited. Also notices on school building sale and Montana state fair butter and dairy premiums announced.
