The Sweet Grass County Fair Association plans a four day event next week with Big Timber bands, a possible Bozeman lady band appearance, balloon ascension, broncho busting, and other attractions. Horses from Butte circuit, riders like Miss Harper of Fish Creek, and 30 head at the grounds promise strong racing. Entry forms optional. H Utermohle is secretary.

Big Timber 1907 tax levy set by county commissioners
The Sweet Grass county board met in Big Timber on August 12 1907 to establish the 1907 tax levy. Members H O Kellogg John Rye and Geo A Leasby plus clerk H C Allen voted to set levies for county High School and special improvement districts and to enter assessments for the Northern Pacific Railway Company. The duplicate assessment book was dispensed with and the session adjourned.
