Camp Tender Nevland Missing Near American Fork Mountains
Iver Nevland, a sheep camp tender with three years on the job, vanished while hunting stray horses near the American Fork tributaries. Search efforts by camp leader T S Lavold and fellow herder Elias Espele have not located him. Nevlund, from Egersund, Norway, is described as familiar with the area and possibly struck by lightning or the result of an accident.

Man Charged With Giving Liquor to Minors and Jail Destruction
Roderick McNeil a Canadian was arrested by Marshall A G Yule on a charge of giving liquor to minors. He resisted arrest and damaged jail fixtures, including windows, after confinement. County Attorney J B Barbour filed a second complaint for injuring and destroying the jail. Penalties include up to 1000 fine or up to five years in state prison.

Crazy Sheep Herder Derailed Passenger Train at Toledo
A madman 39 years old derailed Great Northern No 3 near Havre Montana after signaling a red switch. The fireman died from burns and several passengers were injured while the engineer survived with minor injuries. the suspect claimed God ordered the act and is jailed in Havre.

Reports from Sweet Grass valley say a severe storm Tuesday night flooded Sourdough Wild Cat Dry Fork and East Fork. East Fork damages include C S Hanson ranch wall collapse and grainery washout with three to four feet of water inside. Crops along the creeks heavily damaged. property losses expected. Brakeman Shot by Dangerous Hobo on Freight Train
J W Hoag a brakeman on a freight train was shot in the left thigh as a hobo attempting to steal a ride fired twice through the top of a box car near the old water tank four miles west of the town. A posse pursued but found no trace. the suspect described as small with dark mustache wore a felt hat dark clothes and khaki trousers.
