In a public statement Big Piney Wyoming local food administrator Oscar Beck denies circulating false lists of flour and sugar. He says federal official Diers ordered the report sent by the public and claims the attacks target his Republican State Senate candidacy. He asks voters for support at the polls next Tuesday.
T D O Neil announces his candidacy for Wyoming State Senate from Big Piney. He has 30 years in Wyoming and 10 in the county, pledges wartime effort, support for prohibition, and service to the people.
J. F. Fitzpatrick of Kemmerer Wyoming announces his candidacy for a second two year term as Lincoln County coroner. He thanks voters for the August 20 primary support and asks ballots in the November general election. He promises to fulfill office duties to the best of his abilities if re elected.
Mrs Effie Alleman of Cokeville Wyoming declares candidacy for county superintendent of schools. She cites eleven years in education and a background from Mansfield State No School Pennsylvania and an agricultural course, studies at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Davis Reading course at the Thousand Islands. She notes 93 months of teaching experience and asks for support at the November general election.
