The Big Piney town council met with Mayor Tanner and councilors Budd Jensen Chapel and Yose. Bills totaling 287.96 were approved for professional services streets insurance and printing. Donations from Fleming and Chapel supported Dr Marquis flu epidemic services. Meeting adjourned.

Community Thanksgiving Service at St. Johns Big Piney
The Ladies Guild of St John s Episcopal Mission arranged for Rev W H Ward rector of St Johns Green River to lead a Thanksgiving Service at St Johns Big Piney on Sunday December 1 at eleven am. The service was moved from Thanksgiving Day to the following Sunday due to Rev Ward s parish duties, and the entire community is urged to attend this joint observance.

Russell Daniels Dies in France From Wounds in Action
Mrs. Russell Daniels received a telegram from Washington announcing that her husband Dutch Daniels died at a hospital in France from wounds received while in action. The community expresses sympathy as Daniels, drafted by the Kemmerer board last spring, is survived by his wife several children and his parents and siblings in the area.
