The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission after a Casper hearing on fencing of public lands urges planning of fences to protect wildlife. It notes hot wire and tall or multi strand barbed fences impede movement and supports marked fences and continued studies.
The Big Piney 4-H program is underway with clubs forming and several projects offered this year. Projects include foods clothing knitting leathercraft livestock and horse. Leaders listed cover first and second year groups and volunteers invite interested youth to enroll through leaders or the Extension Office.
The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation will hold its annual convention in Riverton from November 8 through 12. Activities include committee meetings, speeches by Herbert Livingdon and Craig Thomas, a chuckwagon breakfast, banquets, a queer contest, and officer elections as general sessions meet at Acme Theatre with headquarters at the Teton Hotel.
Miss Janet Coppock and Glen Kent Peterson exchanged vows at the home of Mrs. Shirley Jensen in Salt Lake City officiated by Bishop Forest Lassater. The bride wore a white brocade dress with a pearl and crystal veil. the two were then honored with a reception in Big Piney Wyoming and a honey moon at Wendover on the Utah Nevada line.
Freshman Clyde Mooney named on the first six weeks honor roll at Big Piney High School for the 1965-66 term with a 1.0 to 1.5 GPA range.

The Blue Birds conducted their annual cookie sale on Tuesday with many cookies sold, then moved to the Legion Hall for dismissal. Rod Bennett Sr. is hospitalized at Holy Cross in Salt Lake City after an earlier incident at work.
Warren Phillips remains troubled by chest injuries after a recent bull bout. He was briefly hospitalized in Kemmerer but has returned home though not feeling well.
