Big Piney Town Council Meets To Review Lighting And Ordinances
The Big Piney Town Council met November 1 1965 at 7 00 pm with Mayor Paul N Erherbel and members Jamie son Sessions Tomassi and Wilkerson present. They toured trailer courts noting inadequate lighting and ordered two lights and tax reminders for Peck's Trailer Court. They discussed FAA proposed discontinuance of the Big Piney Vorlac and authorized letters of objection to senators and representatives. The council approved ordinance groundwork to extend town ordinances to town property including the airport and ordered removal of Exclusive from the airport franchise. Transfers of garbage franchise and lighting questions for trailer courts were addressed along with various disbursement tallies and a motion to approve ordinance number 78.
