Rodeo and Auction Sale Grand Success
The Marbleton event raised significant funds for the American Red Cross with Preston and Budd leading auctions from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Items including livestock and goods fetched high bids, followed by rodeo events, school performances, a dance, and a midnight supper. The drive, urging support for the hundred million goal, featured talks by Hon. D. A. Preston and community organizers.

Commencement Exercises Enjoyed by Class of 18 at Buddhall
The commencement exercises at Buddhall last Friday celebrated the Class of 18 with student performances led by Lydia Tanner Leona Lynn and other graduates. Attendees included Board of Education members Mrs Laurence Bess Principal Al Osterhout J B Budd James Mickelson and Rev A Gordon Fawkes who urged applying athletic and civic ideals to education. A piano solo chorus a school song quartets duets and an address by Rev Sowkes highlighted the program followed by a dance. Baccalaureate is set for May 26 at Congregrational Church and class day May 28 at the school house.
