The Town Council of Big Piney will meet July 1, 1916 at 8 P.M. in the Town Hall to levy a special assessment for sidewalk construction on the north side of Budd Avenue, affecting all adjacent property. Mayor L. D. Tanner presides. Town Clerk Grover Trittipo attests.

Fourteen two-year-old colts were reported missing last fall and later found dead. A liberal reward is offered for information leading to their recovery, with authorities urging anyone with tips to come forward.
A $25 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons engaging in seining spearing or dynamiting fish in any lake or stream.

Bids due July 1 1916 by 7 pm. minimum 6 feet wide with 2x6 stringers and 2 inch plank or cement. $25 bond or certified check required. Town reserves right to reject bids. Grover Trittipo Town Clerk.

Local men cutting road to Middle Piney Lake with donations except Harley Smith employed by Budd. Herschler party from Fontenelle attended Marbleton dance.
Riverton bankers L. L. King and geologist Frank King examined the Dry Piney and LaBarge oil fields spreading optimism for the Dry Piney prospect. They may buy into Cretaceous Oil Co and plan a 2500 foot test drilling with Keystone equipment, as several Fortunes-seeking investors arrive including Harry Hynds and Eugene McCarty arriving June 25.
