Frank Travis Dies in Nevada After Summer Illness
Frank Travis, formerly first ranger at Snider Basin near Big Piney, died in Nevada after a prolonged illness. He had left the Big Piney area in 1915 to run the Valley Theatre and later returned to forest service work in Nevada. He was active in Masonic Woodmen and Redmen lodges, and his family faces sympathy from many friends in the community.

Treasurer-Elect Bride and Groom Married in Salt Lake
Gilbert Taysom treasurer-elect and Miss Liza McBride of Oakley Idaho were wed in the Salt Lake temple. They arrived in Kemmerer two days later as he prepares to assume deputy duties January 1. Taysom recently returned from England where he served as a Mormon missionary and is a Star Valley native. Mrs. Taysom is the daughter of a prominent Oakley fruit grower and ranchman.
