A jovial gathering at the Blainey hotel honors Mr. Fish on his 77th birthday hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Fish. Guests include Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Budd, F. A. Fear, L. D. Tanner, Albert Larson, Geo. Ross and daughter Eunice, Mary E. Dempsey, and Rev. A. Gordon Fawkes. The evening features dinner, reminiscences of pioneer days, games, and piano music by Mrs. Fish. Valley volunteers benefitted by dance
The Big Piney ladies organized the Mess Fund dance last Friday, raising over 50 locally and more than 90 with tickets from Fontenelle and others. Donations included 25 from Jacob Herschler and 165 from his son Ned, with L. E. Bennett providing music and refreshments. Funds and contributions are now in the bank for Valley Volunteers and may be deposited at the State Bank of Big Piney.

Mr and Mrs Joseph Huston visited E S Plank on land business Friday. Mrs C F Webb and Vivian McCasland learned of Mrs Frank McCasland s death in Longmont Colo and hurried to attend the funeral. Henry Bollinger and son bought Phillips ranch on Middle Beaver with cattle and horses and plan 300 tons of hay. A baby girl was born to Mr and Mrs Lee Smith. Mr and Mrs Chas Cox traveled to Kemmerer in their new truck. About fifty guests attended a dance in honor of Miss Josephine Bentley and Miss Leona Linn at Marbleton. D H Scott moved to his upper ranch for haying. The group praised Frontier Days at Cheyenne and noted fine roads with two light rains on the Wyoming Colorado trip. Miss Leona Linn visited Bentley ranch. Josephine Bentley returned from Laramie after summer school.
