Police Rush To Bel Air Home Of Upset Star

Los Angeles police rushed to the Bel Air mansion of actress Pier Angeli on Friday night after a call from her ex husband Vic Damone alleging she was deeply upset. Damone said she asked about press accounts linking him to another woman and began crying. Police determined no suicide attempt occurred. Damone explained he worried about her but said they are still estranged after a December divorce and a brief reconciliation last summer.
