Kennebunk River Dredging Plan Advances With $20,000 Bid

Kennebunk and Kennebunkport selectmen agreed to raise 20,000 jointly at upcoming town meetings to fund offshore dumping of about 44,000 cubic yards of dredging spoils. The Army Corps of Engineers plans offshore dumping two and a half miles off the river mouth with federal approval pending. If funding fails, onshore disposal or no action remain.

BeP Rejects Kennebunk and North Berwick as Interveners
