Components Inc seeks space for expansion in Biddeford area
Components Inc plans to add 8,000 to 10,000 square feet for new manufacturing in the Biddeford Saco region without leaving the current Biddeford site. President Herman Schneider said the expansion needs air purification and different space, with 60 percent research and 40 percent production at present. The firm, which makes miniature capacitors for electronics, has about 70 employees and aims to retain the Biddeford location while using the current site for research and initial production.

Frederick Hall Opened at St Francis College Dorms Named
Two newly completed men's dormitories at St Francis College have been named Frederick Hall by Franciscan Fathers Rev Clarence Laplante OFM Penipend president announced. The building honors Rev Frederick Belanger OFM pioneer founder and first president, who guided the campus expansion. Belanger arrived in 1934 and helped acquire land, renovate facilities, and plan nine new housing units. The dorms were begun this spring and finished in September before the fall term. Very Rev Fulgence Boisvert will bless Frederick Hall during Parent Weekend.

University Set To Greet JFK at Maine Campus
President Kennedy will visit the University of Maine campus with about 15 000 visitors expected for a 11 15 a m convocation on the athletic field. He will receive an honorary degree, speak extemporaneously, then depart for Boston over Dow Air Force Base.
