Cars Damaged In Kennebunk Traffic Mishap
Two cars were heavily damaged in a Friday afternoon collision at Fletcher and Main Streets in Kennebunk. No injuries were reported. Drivers included John N. Diapoulo of Danvers Mass., 20, in a 1956 coupe with passengers Richard Leger 19 and John Peterson 19. Geneva Newell 41 of Kennebunk led a 1960 station wagon. The impact pushed her car onto the Kennebunk Free Library lawn. Chief Frank Stevens investigated.

Old Orchard Beach reports a motorist James Pouravalis 25 West Grand Ave was hospitalized after a Saco Avenue crash. He told police he dozed at the wheel and his eastbound car hit a parked vehicle in the Saco Avenue Garage lot. Both cars listed as total losses. He was treated at Webber Hospital for facial cuts and a cut tongue.
