Olive Rebekah Lodge met at 1.0.C. F. hall Monday with Noble Grand Mrs. Dorothy Hubbard presiding. A memorial service was led by Mrs. Mildred Thyng and Mrs. Evelyn Court. Flowers were given to patient Mrs. Laura White at a nursing home. Past Noble Grands plan a cookout June 30 at Mrs. Gladys Bryant’s home in Arundel with member contributions to cover costs.

Local Councils Plan Feast Day Celebration in Biddeford
Officials of Council Chagnon and Council St Therese plus Union St. Jean Baptiste completed plans for a St John the Baptist feast. A 7 p.m. mass will be at St Johns Hall Adams Street Biddeford June 24 with Rev Matthew Audibert delivering the homily and Lionel Perreault as lector. A social evening with French music follows and luncheon will be served by St Therese Council women. Reservations are required. Invitations were sent to councils in Old Orchard Saco Portland Westbrook Sanford Springvale.
