Public safety beat reports collisions and incidents in Saco area
A car driven by Milton M Davis of Saco collided with a truck driven by Chris A Perkins of John son Vermont at 1 15 p m Saturday causing about 1600 in damage per Saco police. A car stolen from West Kennebunk was recovered in Connecticut with no arrest. A car fire by Geoffrey Monteith of Scarborough was extinguished at the Saco fire station. Guy Loranger, injured in an early morning Route 5 crash, is stable at Webber Hospital. A four year old girl was treated and released after a two car crash on Old Orchard Beach Turn Road.

A large gathering at Biddeford High School honored Dr William B O Sullivan as he enters semi retirement after nearly 40 years serving the Biddeford area. The event at Steve White Gym drew civic leaders doctors and business friends including Mayor Lucien Dutremble and leaders from Maremont Corp Saco Tanning Corp and Webber Hospital. Dr O Sullivan began practice in 1938 and will work part time at Maremont and Saco Tanning while remaining a civic figure in the community.
