Water Safety Classes At Saco Pool Draw 400 Registrants

More than 400 people attended registration for a Saco water safety program at the Royal Ambassador pool in Ocean Park. Buses will shuttle participants from Saco at 12 30 p.m. to the pool and back at 3 p.m. Mrs. Ernest Pendleton led the event with Mrs. Howard Shaffer directing beginners and Mrs. Gerald Van Fleet handling intermediates.

Three white men were arrested in Little Rock for attempting to blow up Philander Smith College using a dynamite box. FBI said two were found ready to light a fuse as a small explosion shattered nearby windows. no injuries reported.

Staples Post Will Honor Clergy Guests July 16
