Beach Board Presents Dual Budget At Old Orchard Beach

Old Orchard Beach budget committee heard two versions of a 331,478.50 dollar school budget at Jameson School. Dr Frank Lawler, superintendent, defended the outlook noting a total increase of 30,063 with anticipated town reduction to 281,650.19. includes 21,180 for teachers salaries and 8,883 for other items. Louis DeAngelis submitted a 1962-63 budget in the committee’s preferred format along with a teacher list detailing classification experience and salaries. The discussion followed a prior altercation between Lawler and DeAngelis.

Rusk Rejects Summit Start For Geneva Talks
