In Manchester New Hampshire a 16 year old youth picked up in Boston in the murder of 18 year old Sandra Valade has been cleared of any connection. The attorney general said the youth who appears older than his age was at the New Hampshire State Industrial School on Feb 1 the night the girl was last seen. Mine detectors will be used today in a water works canal where Sandra s snow boot purse and coat were found as police search for a pistol.
