Wells youths in court on liquor charges in Seco

In Seco Municipal Court this morning three Wells youths faced illegal possession of liquor charges. Maynard Bridges 19 and Alfred Strew 17 received six months in county jail suspended, one year probation. David St Cyr 17 paid 15 dollar fine and was released to a Wells guardian. Bridges faced a 10 day license suspension for misstatements on his driving application. a third charge of procuring liquor for minors was filed. Old Orchard Beach police and state liquor investigators were the complainants. Richard Beda of Westbrook was an unavailable defendant. Raymond Lacasse 20 paid a 10 dollar fine for a passing offense. Phyllis Shore 42 Kinney Shores had her case continued for sentence.
