Victor Soffietti of Rimu died last Thursday at a state hospital at age 56. Funeral services were held Monday at Wakefield Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Drengaca officiating. Burial followed at Bessemer Cemetery. He was born in Italy on August 23, 1883 and came to the area in 1903. Survived by his wife and nine children Mary Wakefield Martha Ida Rose Katherine Alvina Nick Battista Louis and Charles along with several sisters and brothers in Italy.
