Common Council Proceedings June 20 1938 Bessemer Michigan
The common council met in regular session in the council chambers with Mayor Hill presiding. The minutes were approved and numerous claims and payments across contingents water and street funds were examined, including Board of Review items and labor charges. The council discussed subscriptions to the Michigan Association of Chiefs of Police, vehicle repairs, street and sewer projects, building repairs, sidewalk forms, and a new gas tank for the public grounds. Multiple motions passed authorizing budgeted payments, contract actions, and future reports, with adjournment at the end of the meeting.
