Finnish people of the Gogebic range organize a celebration this weekend to mark 300 years since Finnish colonists arrived in America. The program includes a Wakefield dance Saturday night, a Sunday parade from Ironwood to Wakefield, a picnic at Eddy Park, and speeches by Toivo Nevala Alfred Laakso and Congressman Frank E. Hook. Dr. H. L. Sarvela serves as general chairman.
