City council actions approve Underwood site transfer and ordinances

The Bessemer City Council accepts the Underwood Veneer Mill site in its present condition with no claims against the Common Land and Lumber Company except 1952 taxes. It orders a quit claim deed to the city and a bill of sale to V F W Post 1823. The council also directs removal timing of the office and mill structures and approves street extension surveys and board appointments.
