Death summons Frank Polasti aged 58 at Ann Arbor hospital
Frank Polasti, Ramsay tavern owner, died last Thursday at University Hospital in Ann Arbor after a month of treatment for a liver ailment. Born March 1 1885 in Austria Hungary, he came to Ram say 26 years ago. He was active in local bowling circles. Survived by his wife and two daughters in the old country. Funeral at Frick funeral home conducted by Rev. Thomas Drea gece of Wakefield. Burial in Bessemer cemetery.

August Lorenson of Puritan Dies at 65
August Lorenson a former Puritan mine captain died at his Puritan home after a stroke suffered 14 years earlier. Born in Sweden May 7, he immigrated to the U.S. in 1880 and married Hanna Erickson in Tronwood ten years later. Survivors include his widow two sons and six daughters. Funeral services were held at the Puritan home and Salem Lutheran church Ironwood with interment in Ironwood cemetery.
