Miss Flora de Voss returns to the Bessemer Opera House for a four night engagement starting Thursday Jan 19 at the Flora DeVoss Company presenting the four act comedy drama Palle with new members and vaudeville acts. Special scenery and popular priced tickets apply with ladies admitted free Thursday evening and two for one offers on advance sale tickets before 6 pm Thursday.

Fat hogs 7.73 per ewt, hogs not fattened 6.89 per ewe, and fat cattle 4.83 per ewt. Three year old and over 40.54. old $3.28. Ewt refers to live weights and price units vary by commodity.

Deputy Grand Worthy President W T Pierrellee of Wisconsin installed Gogebie 1908 Eagles officers at the opera house before an audience of about 400. Officers named include W P F A Siebensohn W W P Emil Funk and others. Afterward 350 plates were served and the Juvenus Orchestra provided music into the night. Pierrellee discussed Eagles aims and history, noting the local aerie was founded Oct 22 1909 with 49 members and 188 by Wednesday evening with 23 new applications.
The Catholic Order of Forestry installed officers at Sunday meeting led by Totin Finnegan of Verona. An evening by the Jens Pugh c. cert company at the Temple Thes drew one of the season’s best crowds. Miss Katherine Kellogg, violinist, delivered superb tone and technique. Miss Lathrop’s voice impressed with dignified sweetness. Mr. Pugh’s dramatic feats ranged from brisk humor to pointed humor, engaging the audience throughout.
