Simpson Candidate for Auditor General in 1908
Nathan F. Simpson of Hartford Van Buren county seeks the Republican nomination for auditor general. A former Michigan legislator and chair of military affairs, he helped push key bills and the Kalamazoo training school. Born 1862 in New York, he lived in Nebraska and Michigan, served as a Spanish American War captain, then Philippine service, and now garners support across Michigan, especially Van Buren county and the fourth district.
