Greyhound Seeks Bus Fares Hike
Mayor Dillon reports Greyhound Bus Corp seeks rate and charge increases effective July 15. The state Department of Public Utilities suspended the hike until May 15 of next year and announced a hearing to be held July 22 at 10 a.m. in Room 166 at the State House in Boston.

Gift to brew School Association Ceremony
The graduates present a gift to the school to be accepted by Herman Fink director of the Jewish Community Center. Mr. Stein will deliver a recognition message for service to the school. Police Briefs Record Selden Ills and Missing Papers
Coroia Nichlen, 38, of Woodlawn Ave, was taken to St Luke s Hospital after falling ill. Ernest Dorr, 65, of Dickinson Ave, was hospitalized at Pittsfield General for illness at home. Frances R. McCluskey on Yokun Street reports missing citizenship papers and personal letters from her attic trunk and offers a reward. She also says gunfire was heard near her home. Police investigate a Monday South Street mishap as Katharine H. Annin of Richmond reports.
