Total Wreck mine re works in revived Arizona mining
The Total Wreck, nine miles south of Pantano, Arizona, is being reworked after years idle. A new shaft reaches seventy feet with twenty five men, molybdenum in small veins shows potential, and a tram is breaking ore from waste rock. The Vail Company owns it with Edward Vail as general manager and Edward Masters as mining engineer. Ore is hauled to Pantano for shipment.

Hold up at Tombstone bank ends with capture of armed bandit
About 1 o'clock yesterday a man attempted a hold up at the First National Bank of Tombstone and seriously wounded cashier T R Brandt. The assailant fired once, fled without stealing funds, and was chased down by citizens supported by deputies Guy Welch and Jeff Milton. He, identified as Fred Kuch, a 30 year old picture machine operator, was captured within twenty minutes.
