Benson Troops Beat Tombstone in Rifle Contest and Dance
The Benson Rifle Club hosted Tombstone for a two day event with twelve shooters per side in rapid fire at 200 and 300 yards and slow fire at the same distances. Benson won by thirty one points as Tombstone guests enjoyed a successful evening dance at the Auditorium with music by the Fraizer orchestra. Attendees included shooters and visitors from Dragoon Johnson St David Curtis Pomerene Fairbank Sonoita and others. Receipts covered expenses and modest surplus.
