700 Attend Town Meeting in Addison Township
A crowd of about 700 Addison Township voters gathered at Fenton High School to vote down a proposed gravel tax for township roads by 424 to 234 and a smaller tax for building and equipment by 404 to 157. The budget of 213,902 was approved, with a quadrennial reassessment planned for the coming year to update property values.

Gail Middleton 19, class of 1959 graduate from Fenton, will join the Ice Capades next Monday in Kansas City after an audition in Chicago. She trained at the Michael Kirby School in Park Ridge and with Noel Ledin, earned six US Figure Skating Association medals, and volunteered in the Chicago park ice program.
