Dorchester Ship Linked to Rhode Island Drug Ring
Rhode Island authorities tie a Jamaican fishing boat named Dorchester to a multi jurisdiction marijuana smuggling ring. The vessel, found empty and unmarked, later tied to five Rhode Island drug raids netting 352 bales valued at about 10 million dollars. An operation using 20 trucks, six planes and four ships fed drugs from South America via the coast.
