WEST ARLINGTON Camp life in the Arctic becomes a reality for George O. Linkletter of Hanover as part of a Dartmouth College geological group led by Dr. Andrew McNair. Nine weeks on Victoria Island near the Arctic Circle yielded fishing, wildlife observations, and extensive field work, with daily weather reports and broadcasts from multiple international stations. Linkletter plans to pursue an M A at Dartmouth next June, sharing photos to inspire students.

A past president of the American Hospital Association will headline the Vermont Hospital Association two day gathering at Equinox House in Manchester on Sept 21 and 22. Clarence E. Wonnacott of Latter Day Saints Hospital will join Dr. Robert J. Slater in a New Horizons in Health Care discussion and address the luncheon. The program includes panels on Medicare and personnel shortages with leaders from Blue Cross Blue Shield and Mary Fletcher Hospital. Other groups in the meetings include the New Hampshire Vermont Chapter of the American Association of Hospital Accountants and the Vermont Dietetic Association.
