About 55,000 Vermont voters are expected to turnout in the GOP primary to choose a governor candidate to challenge incumbent Democratic Gov. Philip H. Hoff. Kenney to resign Hoff aide in Vermont
Thomas J. Kenney, 45, secretary of civil and military affairs for Gov. Philip H. Hoff, will resign November 18 to return to private law practice. In Grafton New York Justice of the Peace set bail for Helen M. Bennett 18 of Watervliet charged with driving the hit and run car that killed 13 year old Elmer Burdick and injured his brother 15.
