Pet deli serves gourmet tidbits for pampered pets in NYC
New York upstate owners Mitstifer and Poulin run Animal Gour met a pet restaurant opened in July. The menu features 11 entrees from poached fish to Swedish meat balls with prices around 70 cents per quarter-pound. Dogs and cats dine on the floor, and owners can take meals to go or buy frozen dinners. A dogfight incident and a finicky cat are the only notable hiccups as business booms.
