Pownal history nears completion with photos awaiting IDs
The Pownal bicentennial history, edited by Joseph Parks, moves toward publication with about 150 pages and 200 illustrations. Ellen Lillie leads the committee aided by the Colman Mason and Adler families. funding aims to cover costs, donors gain a dedication page and a hard cover copy. Residents are asked to help identify people and places in the photo pages, with donations growing the volume.
