Former Rep Hanna Linked to Korea bribery scheme in 1968 meeting
KCIA head Kim Hyung Wook testified before the House Ethics Committee that he, Tongsun Park, and Rep Richard Hanna met in August 1968 to discuss Park becoming broker for U S rice sales to Korea and a plan to distribute money among U S congressmen. Kim said Park boasted of bribing lawmakers with cash sums up to 10 000. Hanna pleaded innocent in a Washington court to charges tied to the operation.

New York authorities ruled David Berkowitz mentally competent Friday to face trial for the final Son of Sam murder.
