Developers Charged With Broken Promises At Quechee
A Quechee Lakes Development Corp landowner vows to raise complaints at the first annual land owners meeting Saturday in Hartford Town with attorney Robert H. Arnold of Glastonbury filing a letter signed by 12 owners accusing the firm of violating promises about 2000 vacation homes and 500 condominiums. Arnold says the project cuts lot sizes to half an acre, reserves less land, and creates clustered suburban development while delaying a portable pool and golf course features. Davidson counters Arnold helped draft plans and knew half the property would remain open and condominiums would be built as approved.
