Lighting remodeling a good place to start for homes
CHICAGO UP I Older houses often need updates for modern living and energy efficiency. Begin remodeling with lighting to create comfortable, practical spaces from kitchens to living rooms. Modern options include under cabinet, range hood, ceiling panels, downlights, and wall lighting to reduce contrast. For a 10 by 20 foot living room, a minimum of 16 feet of wall lighting is advised.
