Trial change granted in Vermont civil suit
A $500000 civil suit filed by Melvin Mendelsohn, former Windham Southeast Supervisory Union superintendent, will move to a different court after a venue change request was granted. Judge John Morrissey said the new trial court will be designated later. The suit alleges WSESU board members violated his rights when they declined to extend his contract three years ago. The WSESU serves Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Putney and Vernon.
