Vermont Yankee waste truck collision injures three in North Carolina

A Vermont Yankee tractor trailer carrying low level radioactive resins rear ended a pickup on Interstate 95 in Rocky Mount North Carolina. Three people were injured mildly including Thomas Nipper who needed surgery but was reported stable. No leakage occurred and the cask will be hooked to another rig to continue to Barnwell South Carolina.

Bromley Village seeks to double housing units

Bromley Village owner Big Bromley Inc applied for an Act 250 permit to build 141 more condominiums in Bromley Village, Vermont, and nearby Winhall. The $4 million addition would nearly double current development and complete the 1968 master plan, with total units stabilizing at about 300. Prices range 50 000 to 75 000 for condos and 75 000 to 100 000 for houses.
